Chili powder
2 tablespoons
Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon
Dried basil (store bought or homemade)
2 teaspoons
Ground cumin
2 teaspoons
Steak sauce
1 teaspoon
Garlic powder
1 teaspoon

1 1/2 teaspoons
Browning sauce (optional)
Chopped onion for topping (optional)
Shredded cheese for topping (optional)

Step by Step Instructions
- In a stockpot, cook the beef, onion, bell pepper, and celery over medium heat. Drain the mixture once the meat is cooked and the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the beans, tomato puree, salsa, diced tomatoes, broth, water, all the sauces and seasonings, and browning sauce if you choose to use it. Bring the chili to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer uncovered for at least 30 minutes.
- Serving suggestions include chopped onions, shredded cheese, or sliced jalapenos for topping and bread, rolls, or cheese straws as a side.
